I’m a radio girl. I prefer it to television. It’s the last man-made sound I hear before I go to sleep and the first sound I hear in the morning. I absolutely hate ringing alarm clocks. That gawd-awful noise they make, jerking you out of sleep and into a major migraine first thing in the morning. Whoever created that noise was sadistic. My clock-radio is quietly set on the classical station. This particular station’s morning selection is soft classical and is very soothing. Somewhere between asleep and awake I heard the soft music. This morning they are featuring flutists. I love the way flutes sing, soft and smooth, like the feeling you get when you think of prefect love. If Tracy were home, this would certainly be the perfect time for enjoying early in the morning lovemaking. But, he is with his real wife…the one that’s allowed to call him in the middle of the night and demand his attention, regardless of where he is or what he’s doing. I know her well; her name is United States Navy.
